SUPPLEMENT YOUR DOULA TRAINING

by Dr. Abby Jorgensen, PhD, HCBD, LCCE, CD(DONA)
I know what it can be like to be thrown into a bereavement support situation that you weren't expecting. When this first happened to me, I was nervous, anxious, confused about where to turn for information, grieving, and maybe even a little bit terrified that I wouldn't know what to do.

You don't have to feel like that. To help you feel confident in providing compassionate care for your clients, I've created this short course on bereavement support that's available for you to take what you need, when you need it.

All the “crash course” information you need to support your clients through loss is here and ready for you when you want it.
You'll learn:

How to respond when families experience miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss

What to say—and what not to say—when supporting grieving clients

Self care strategies during bereavement support

How to make community connections to support your bereaved clients,

How to hold space for discussions of meaning and loss,

Considerations for a loss in a particular trimester,

And what to do after a death.
